About Us

Peter Webster BA(Hons) MRTPI is committed to providing a high quality and cost effective service to existing and potential clients. An initial desktop evaluation or site visit is normally free and from this point I can advise you on the best way forward to realise the development potential of your site, or realise your vision and ideas. There are often several different planning options and based on your requirements, I can provide a direct pathway to success.

I have experience in  design and can help you to develop your ideas and advise on the most appropriate design solutions to gain planning permission. All drawings are executed on CAD allowing them to be electronically transmitted to Councils or clients in PDF or DWG formats.

With my experience, knowledge and good working relations with Local Authorities I can develop your proposals through pre-application discussions with planning officers and statutory bodies (i.e. The Environment Agency, County Highways) and provide the necessary Design and Access Statements which are required for most planning applications. Once the planning application is submitted, I keep in close contact with Council Planning Officers and review any objection letters or concerns raised by statutory bodies, or other interested parties. I can then advise on amendments or provide additional information. On more complex applications there may be a requirement to submit reports from other specialist groups such as ecologists, highway engineers, or arboriculturalists.

Most planning applications are determined by Planning Officers and only a small number go before a planning committee. If an application goes to committee we can provide letters of support and lobby members.

If you have not applied for planning permission when you should and the Council is taking action (or is about to do so) we can intervene and help; you can appeal, we may be able to negotiate changes or obtain retrospective consent. It is almost never too late to act.
